The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing front office operations, and ensuring efficient administrative support to maintain smooth daily clinic functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and accurately
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
- Verify insurance information and collect co-pays or outstanding balances
- Ensure new patient paperwork is completed and properly documented
- Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system
