We are searching for a Medical Aide to become part of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Assists directly in the assigned classroom with activities of daily living including feeding, personal care and transition of students.
- Assist teacher and therapists with carrying out activities designed to address student goals.
- High School diploma or equivalent, plus successful completion of a minimum of 18 college credits preferred
- This position will require completion of the teaching assistant certification.
- The employee must regularly lift and or move individuals - i.e., may be required to lift 50 pounds independently and up to 150 pounds with assistance of another staff , and use a mechanical lift device as assigned.
