Some Job Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of the Recreation Specialist/DSP to organize and plan recreational activities.
It is the responsibility of the Recreation Specialist/DSP to ensure that all individuals at their site receive support that is consistent with Support with Dignity and the Core Competencies.
It is the responsibility of the Rec/DSP to participate in trainings that will help them better understand and support those they work with.
Job Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
Complete and maintain AMAP and SCIP certification, as per the Center's policy.
Valid NYS Drivers License Required.
Must be able to sit, stand, lift 50 lbs.
