CCR is excited to be expanding its mental health services in Wayne County. We will be opening a Crisis Stabilization Center that includes Crisis Intervention services and Crisis Residential Services!
Crisis Intervention Services include telephone, walk in and mobile assessments, crisis counseling, conflict resolution, referrals and linking to community resources. The Crisis Residential facility is an 8-bed, 24/7 facility that accommodates individuals aged 18 and older experiencing mental health crises. The program offers a structured, supportive environment conductive to recovery.
We are currently seeking Licensed Registered Nurses to join our Crisis Residential team. As a Crisis Residential RN, you will play an integral part in the provision of quality Crisis Residential services, all within a supportive team environment while helping individuals access mental health services within Wayne County.

The starting salary for this position is $38.00/hr. - $42.00/hr. based on experience and education. We offer a shift differential of $2/hr for 2nd shift and $3/hr for 3rd shift. The shift is primarily Weekend Day/Evening 8am-8:30pm 1 day/week 12/hr shift or Weekend Evening/Overnight 8pm-8:30am 1 day/week 12/hr shift.
Essential Functions:
- Process intakes, including physical and psychosocial assessments, for all individuals admitted to the crisis residential facility.
- Provide ongoing medical observation/evaluation and medication administration for up to eight individuals at a time, throughout their treatment at the crisis residential facility.
- Collaborate and communicate with the Crisis Residential PMHNP on all aspects of medical care for individuals in the Crisis Residential program.
- Provide emergency medical care if the need arises.
- Complete evidence-based assessments in screening individuals for SI/HI/SIB.
- Provide training and education to members of the Crisis Residential and Crisis Intervention Services staff.
- Coordinate with other members of the crisis residential multidisciplinary team to assist individuals with accessing community resources and meeting their treatment goals.
- Provide input on the development of psychoeducational support groups and activities.
- Provide supervision of individuals in treatment to ensure their safety and compliance with facility policies, rules and requirements.
- Engage in required supervision processes.
- Maintain quality standards.
- Document services provided to individuals.
- Participate in continuous professional development.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with at least three years of mental health direct care experience.
- Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and Act 33/34 and FBI clearances. EOE/ADA.
Preferred:
- Certified in Psychology or Psychiatry
