Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role located in Fremont, CA, for an Entry Level Behavior Technician. In this role, you will provide individualized behavioral intervention services to clients diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Responsibilities include implementing ABA-based treatment plans created by clinical supervisors, observing and recording client progress, and assisting in fostering clients’ skill development in areas such as communication, socialization, and self-help. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to clients and their families.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis techniques
- Strong skills in Communication and Behavioral Intervention strategies
- Background or interest in Psychology and related fields
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and team members
- Passion for working with individuals with ASD to support their growth and success
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education in psychology, behavior analysis, or related fields is a plus
- Reliable transportation to the Fremont, CA location is necessary
