What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager of Education position at Center for Aquatic Sciences?
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver educational programs for schools, families, and community groups, from classroom visits to large events
- Develop new lessons and activities, and build relationships with schools and partners
- Train and mentor education staff and volunteers
- Support programs at Adventure Aquarium and outdoor community events
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, science, theater, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least one year of customer service experience
- Experience in interpretive settings like schools, zoos, or aquariums
- Valid driver’s license with four years of driving experience
- Must be at least 18
Details:
- Full-time, in-person, Camden NJ
- $18-$19/hour based on experience
- Medical, dental, 401K, and free Adventure Aquarium parking
- Must be flexible for weekends, evenings, holidays, and occasional overnights.
