What we REQUIRE:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree – pay rate dependent on level of education, credentials, and experience
- 3 years’ experience with individuals with severe challenging behavior
- Experience working with adults and/or adolescents with developmental disabilities and other mental health diagnoses
- Reliable means of transportation, valid CA driver's license, registration, and proof of insurance
- Must pass a TB test
- Must pass a criminal background check (FBI/DOJ clearance)
Overview
A Lead RBT is a specialist level position in Clinical Operations department. The role of a Lead RBT® is to support CABA’s clinical services by providing direct support in any CABA service line and beyond direct implementation of services with a client by performing administrative, clinical, training, mentorship and supervisory activities under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst®(BCBA®).
Lead RBT® Responsibilities:
- Support Clinical Administrators and Clinical Supervisors in day-to-day operations and work flows as needed
- Assist and support clinical operations activities that require behavioral expertise (e.g., assessment, client intake, staff training assistance, data graphing and report writing, etc.)
- Communicate pertinent information from Clinical Administrators to Associate Managers, other relevant CABA colleague(s) in a timely manner
- Perform administrative tasks that support clinical operations as needed
- Implement behavior plans and skill acquisition programs plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) as designed by a BCBA®
- Accurately collect data as prescribed in real-time
- Collaborate with, train, and function as liaisons with outside care providers (e.g. parents, outside agency providers, etc.)
- Collect treatment fidelity data related to the implementation of behavior and skill acquisition plans
- Collect interobserver agreement data
- Demonstrate fluent application of Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA) services across any CABA service line
- Train, mentor, and supervise CABA Assistants and Specialists
- Observe, assess, and provide feedback to CABA Assistants and Specialists
- Collaborate with, train, and function as liaisons with outside care providers (e.g. parents, caregivers, outside agency providers, etc.)
- Collect treatment fidelity data related to the implementation of behavior and skill acquisition plans
- Check and maintain own and assigned client schedules
- Write incident reports and assist with writing progress reports per CABA standards and funding source requirements
- Providing ongoing caregiver and staff training with a commitment to the science of behavior analysis, CABA’s CORE values, AEIOUs, and Interagency Collaboration with other stakeholders and service providers
- Conduct RBT® evaluations and training
- Provide on-going support to junior members of the clinical team and, through mentorship, collaboration, and direct supervision; promote best practices of behavior technicians at CABA
- Model appropriate clinical and professional skills to CABA colleague(s)
- Adhere to legislative, funding source, industry, and relevant entities standards regarding ethical guidelines, practice regulations, credentialing, service provision requirements, and other requirements that affect performance of job functions
- Perform other administrative, clinical, training, supervisory, and/or miscellaneous activities as assigned at the discretion of CABA
