During periods without scheduled events, the Team Lead will support the Parks Operations team with preventive maintenance and park improvement projects.

During periods without scheduled events, the Team Lead will support the Parks Operations team with preventive maintenance and park improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of large and small public events
- Serve as on-site lead and primary point of contact during assigned events, coordinating staff, internal teams, and vendors as needed
- Prepare event equipment, materials, and infrastructure in advance of scheduled events
- Transport, load, unload, and arrange event equipment including tables, chairs, barricades, tents, staging, and related materials
- Ensure proper storage, cleaning, minor repairs, and readiness of all event assets following each event
- Take ownership of event operations from start to finish, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards are met
- Supervise and manage event staff during event operations
- Support Open Streets programs, rentals, marketing activations, and sponsored events
- Assist with site preparation, layout execution, space conversions, and post-event restoration
- Support the Parks Operations team with preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and park-related projects during non-event periods
- Report equipment damage, facility issues, or safety concerns promptly
- Follow all organizational safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and operational policies
- Work hours vary based on event schedules
- Availability required for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
