What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant to V.P. Operations position at Center Academy Schools?
Dynamic education company is seeking to fill a newly created position called the Assistant to the V.P. of Operations. This person would travel throughout the state of Florida supporting Principals of privately owned and operated schools. This person would report directly to the V.P. of Operations.
Requirements for the position include:
- A strong educational background with experience working with Middle and High School students (able to provide daily support to principals throughout the state).
- Experience working with students who have unique learning difference (including ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other mild to moderate learning challenges).
- Strong credentials would include a bachelor's degree (Master's Degree is preferred).
- Classroom teaching experience, preferably working with High School students.
- Experience simultaneously supervising multiple private school campuses.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide guidance to Principals on a daily basis. (Previous experience operating a private school is required).
- Able to travel throughout the state of Florida (this position requires extensive overnight stays (averaging 100 nights a year).
- Extremely organized and able to manage several projects simultaneously.
