We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service at the front desk.
- Manage patient scheduling, including appointments, follow-ups, and cancellations using EHR systems such as Greenway Intergy.
- Handle medical collections and insurance verification processes to ensure accurate billing.
- Maintain and organize medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide clerical support including filing, typing, and managing multi-line phone systems.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and improve patient outcomes.
- Utilize Microsoft Office for administrative tasks and maintain health information management systems.
- Support the office management team with various administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role within a medical or dental office is preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, coding (ICD coding), and billing practices is a plus.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance patient communication.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
