Located in beautiful Louisville, CO, our 104-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness including chemical dependency. Centennial Peaks offers unique and individualized programming for adolescents and adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities. Our dynamic leadership team includes a seasoned nursing department. Our hospital is fortunate to provide Electroconvulsive Therapy, Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs in addition to inpatient services.

Centennial Peaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Intake Counselor to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Intake Counselor provides telephonic and in-person risk assessment and crisis intervention, initial contact with referral sources and potential patients, coordinates the referral and intake process, determines appropriate level of care, facilitates the admission process and maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff. They also provide information to clients, families and referral sources regarding treatment programs, insurance and admission procedures. Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or Human Services field required.

This position is eligible for our generous shift differentials: Weekend Day (Sat-Sun) $2/hr, Evening (Mon-Thurs) $3.25/hr, Weekend Evening (Fri-Sun) $5.00/hr, Weekend Night (Fri-Sun) $7.00/hr

must work three and a half hours (3.5 hours) into a shift to qualify for shift differential.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work or Counseling.
Licensed Clinican in the state of Colorado, preferred but not required. If not licensed must have the ability to obtain licensure (LPC or LCSW). Supervision for employees working towards licensure can be provided onsite.
Prefer previous experience with psychiatric patients of all ages.
