Centennial Flyers – Englewood, Colorado (Centennial Airport)
Centennial Flyers is one of Colorado’s largest and most active flying clubs, operating a diverse fleet of more than thirty aircraft based at Centennial Airport. We’re seeking a full-time General Manager to oversee day-to-day business operations, financial performance, payroll, and staff coordination. Aviation experience is not required, but a strong background in business management, financial oversight, and team leadership is essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily operations and ensure smooth coordination between members, instructors, and maintenance partners
• Oversee budgets, cash flow, and financial reporting in coordination with ownership and accounting support
• Administer payroll, vendor payments, and member billing systems
• Hire, train, and supervise administrative and customer service staff
• Track and report operational metrics, member satisfaction, and efficiency improvements
• Collaborate with the maintenance and scheduling teams to ensure reliable aircraft availability
• Implement and enforce company policies, safety standards, and operational best practices
• Represent Centennial Flyers professionally with members, partners, and airport stakeholders
Qualifications
• Proven experience managing a small or mid-sized business, department, or operations team
• Strong financial and administrative background including budgeting and payroll
• Excellent people management and communication skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving problems
• Proficiency with modern business software (QuickBooks, Excel, scheduling or CRM tools)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field preferred
