- Process the file verifying credit, income and assets. This duty is performed daily, about 15% of the time.
- Underwrite Conventional, FHA, VA and Rural Development loans, by analyzing the borrower's credit to determine if the borrower has the capacity and the willingness to repay the loan. This duty is performed daily, about 20% of the time.
- Underwrite mortgage loan applications and evaluate loansin order tomaximize organizational profit and minimize risk or loss. This duty is performed daily, about 20% of the time.
