Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and lead weekly handbell rehearsals, ensuring all members are engaged and prepared for performances.
- Direct the handbell choir during worship services, special events, and community outreach programs with enthusiasm and clarity.
- Select appropriate music pieces that align with liturgical themes and the church’s mission, encouraging musical excellence and spiritual expression.
- Provide instruction on handbell techniques, music theory, and performance skills to choir members of varying ages and experience levels.
- Foster a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork, mentorship, and spiritual growth among choir members.
- Collaborate with church staff to integrate musical selections seamlessly into worship services and special occasions.
