Role Overview:
This role is responsible for providing internal control testing, auditing, monitoring, risk management, and mitigation. This role will gather information relating to the company systems, processes, and configurations, identify and document compliance discrepancies, and report these to the Information Technology Security and Compliance team. This position also assists in reviewing and developing appropriate policies, procedures, and documentation to maintain compliance with client and regulatory requirements.

Compliance Audits:
- Work with Infrastructure Security and Compliance to ensure compliance and successful completion of HITRUST, client, and other regulatory audits.
- Review, prepare, and analyze internal compliance and security audits and review to ensure adherence with IT security policies.
- Work with IT and Service Line staff to gather information for documentation and determine remediation strategies when deficiencies are identified.
- Develop, review, and prepare compliance documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Manage, review, and update technical configurations, asset tracking, and password security.
- Monitor alert systems and escalate critical issues.
- Assist with vulnerability assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Review and understand the company policies, procedures, and compliance.
Role Requirements:
- Two or more years’ experience in Information Security or Information Technology field.
- Experience with Incident ticketing systems, workstation management systems, desktop imaging, and endpoint security management.
- Experience with project management, coordinating work from different teams or business units for a single objective.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Operating Systems, and Linux Operating Systems.
- Familiarity with installation of Operating Systems, 3rd party application software, network equipment, routers, switches, and load balancers.
