Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day HR administrative activities, employee documentation, onboarding coordination, and internal HR operations.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, onboarding paperwork, and internal tracking files.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, new-hire documentation, employee enrollment support, and related HR follow-up.
- Respond to routine employee inquiries or route questions to the appropriate HR, recruiting, security, payroll, or management contact.
- Support compliance-driven HR processes by helping ensure documentation is complete, current, and handled confidentially.
- Prepare HR reports, trackers, forms, and internal updates as requested.
- Assist with process improvements, data cleanup, and administrative support for HR programs and internal operations.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in human resources, HR administration, onboarding, records management, employee support, or related administrative support required.
- Ability to handle sensitive employee and candidate information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records, trackers, and documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and ability to learn HR, recruiting, or applicant tracking systems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check.
- No clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting HR functions in a government contracting, security, data center, or contractor-support environment.
- Experience with UKG, HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, or onboarding systems.
- Familiarity with employee records, onboarding documentation, benefits enrollment support, and compliance-sensitive HR processes.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR-related coursework or certification in progress.
