Temporary Summer Employment Opportunities!

CenClear is currently accepting applications for several Summer Help positions. These temporary positions are available for both internal and external applicants. Application Deadline: May 19, 2026

Pay: Starting at $11.11 per hour

Available Summer Help Positions:

• Position #886 - Maintenance Summer Help
  Assist with weed trimming and lawn care at CenClear facilities. Location: Philipsburg

• Position #887 - Mechanic Summer Help
  Assist in the day-to-day operations of fleet management. Location: Philipsburg

• Position #888 - Early Head Start Summer Help
  Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Early Head Start Program. Location: Bigler or Philipsburg

• Position #889 - Archivist Summer Help
  Assist with records organization, digital archiving, and document management. Location: Bigler

• Position #890 - Contract Reviewer
  Assist with reviewing, organizing, and summarizing contracts and electronic records. Location: Bigler

• Position #892- Records
  Assist in the day-to-day operations of Record Management. Location: Clearfield

General Responsibilities

• Assist department staff with daily operations and special projects
• Maintain organized and safe work areas
• Complete assigned duties in a timely and professional manner
• Follow CenClear policies and procedures
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently enrolled student preferred (work permit required if applicable)
• Archivist position: Some education related to archiving preferred
• Contract Reviewer position: Some education related to contract review, business law, or human resources preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dependable with a positive work ethic
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when required
• Pre-employment physical and TB test may be required depending on position
• Successful candidates must obtain the following clearances prior to hire:
• PA State Police Criminal History Clearance
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance
• FBI Criminal History Clearance
• Mandated Reporter Training Certificate

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work indoors and/or outdoors in varying weather conditions, depending on position
