Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Stagehand to support the setup and breakdown of trade shows, expos, and conferences. This role involves hands-on labor, including warehouse work, decorating, and various setup tasks. The ideal candidate will follow detailed instructions, work efficiently in a team environment, and handle physical tasks that require lifting and moving heavy materials.
Duties
- Assist with warehouse activities related to event setups and takedowns
- Set up and decorate trade show booths, expos, and conference spaces according to provided layouts and maps
- Hang pipe and drape, skirting tables, lay carpet, and perform other staging tasks
- Load, unload, and transport materials using straight trucks as needed
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a tidy work area during setup and breakdown
- Follow detailed instructions and diagrams to ensure accurate assembly of event spaces
- Engage in labor-intensive work requiring physical strength, including lifting 30-60 lbs regularly
- Support team members in all aspects of event staging to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects (30-60 lbs) repeatedly
- Prior experience with warehouse work or event setup is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions, maps, or layouts precisely
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with physical labor involved
- Valid driver’s license with experience driving straight trucks is preferred
- Good teamwork skills and reliability are essential for successful collaboration during busy setup days
- Ability to work flexible hours aligned with event schedules

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
