What You'll Do
As a Pump Operator you will be responsible for the safe operation of the concrete pumping truck. This includes driving and operating to and on various job sites, ensuring the pump truck is always clean and in good operating condition. Our Pump Operators are expected to always operate all equipment safely and professionally.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Drive and operate the pump truck in compliance with company policies and applicable state/federal laws.
- Maintain current licenses and documents per company policies and applicable state/federal laws.
- Responsible to set up pump truck and system(s) on jobsite; clean truck and system following concrete pour in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain pump truck, identifying and completing light duty repairs as needed.
- Provide good customer service, representing yourself and Cemstone in a professional manner.
- Report all incidents and accidents, including injuries immediately to Management.
- Work hours may be long and subject to overtime.
- Must have a high school diploma/GED.
- Maintain valid and clean driving record.
- Maintain a Class A/B License and current DOT Medical Card.
- 1-3 years' experience operating concrete pump truck, preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of light duty repairs, a plus.
- Enjoy working with customers and the public.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, dispatch, and leadership as required.
