Job Responsibilities
WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO
As a Technician Block Production at Cemex, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Safety Compliance: Uphold and advocate for a safe and compliant working environment.
- Communication & Instruction: Communicate effectively, following verbal and written instructions to ensure operational efficiency.
- Physical Stamina: Maintain stamina and focus while standing for extended periods.
- Climbing & Navigation: Navigate and climb conveyors and vertical ladders, demonstrating mechanical aptitude.
- Role Adaptability: Learn and adapt to various operational roles including operator, cuber, and forklift duties.
- Machinery Operation: Operate heavy machinery such as wheeled loaders and forklifts with proficiency.
- Additional Responsibilities: Execute additional responsibilities as directed by management.
- Physical Tasks: Perform various physical tasks including bending, squatting, stooping, sweeping, and shoveling.
- Tool & Equipment Use: Utilize tools and equipment with dexterity and precision.
- Workplace Safety: Adhering to all workplace safety protocols and guidelines.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
To Succeed In This Role, You Should Bring
- Educational and Licensing Requirements: High School Diploma.
- Experience: Prior experience with forklift operation is highly desirable.
- Skills: A background in electrical work, welding, and fabrication is advantageous.
Working Conditions
