The position as Technical Support Engineer is at our Boston, MA office.
About the job
The main success criteria in your role, is to ensure the success of our customers. We offer the markets leading platform for functional 3D Tissue Culture, and we dedicated to providing our customers excellent technical service and support on configurations, settings and technical challenges.
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will:
- Provide technical support to Celvivo’s Application Support team, customers, and end users.
- Assist with technical configurations and troubleshooting across both our hardware platform and cloud solutions.
- Work hands-on with our hardware system, solving hardware-related problems, performing system services and upgrades, and participating in projects involving new or untested hardware configurations.
- Collaborate closely with external partners and internal teams on the development and testing of new products and software releases.
Please note: This position requires regular travel across the U.S. to conduct on-site service and support.
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate has a background in IT, Electronics, Computer Science or similar. You have experience working with a Linux-based system, network configuration and hardware in general. You are comfortable troubleshooting electronics and replacing hardware components and are aware of the dos and don’ts when working with hardware components.
You may currently be working in IT Service & Support or as a Technical Service Engineer. Experience with lab technology or life science equipment is an advantage but not required. Strong communication skills are essential - you must be able to explain technical concepts in a clear, easy-to-understand way, whether by email, phone, or in person.

As a person, you are organized, proactive, and have a “can-do” attitude. You handle multiple tasks efficiently and deliver results with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
