As a lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in our Water Safety Team. Your responsibilities will include implementing all water safety policies and procedures while supervising members and guests in and around the swimming pool.

As a lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in our Water Safety Team. Your responsibilities will include implementing all water safety policies and procedures while supervising members and guests in and around the swimming pool.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
- Arrive at work dressed appropriately and ready at least 5 minutes early.
- Ensure safety through supervision and enforcement of rules.
- Respond quickly to emergencies in and out of the water.
- Administer first aid as needed.
- Report unsafe conditions to the Director or Head Guard.
- Complete assigned cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Test water and report chlorine or pH issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Know and enforce pool rules respectfully.
- Display a positive attitude.
- Attend all staff meetings and training sessions.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Valid Lifeguard Certification (training available).
- Excellent public relations and customer service skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capable of analyzing information and making objective assessments.
- Maintain objectivity and appropriate care standards.
- Team player who can work under direct supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
