Role Description The Interior Designer will be a full-time, on-site team member based in Jupiter, FL, responsible for leading interior design concepts and execution for luxury residential projects. Day-to-day work includes developing design schemes, space plans, and material boards, selecting finishes, fixtures, and collaborating closely with clients to refine and finalize design directions. The role requires coordination with project managers, architects, and construction teams to translate concepts into detailed drawings and specifications that align with project budgets and timelines. The Interior Designer will prepare design presentations, oversee material and product sourcing, and conduct regular site visits to ensure design intent is maintained throughout construction. This position also supports showroom displays, assists with vendor coordination, and contributes to continuous improvement of design standards and processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Interior Design skills, with experience creating functional, aesthetically cohesive residential environments.
- Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to read, interpret, and contribute to design and construction documentation.
- Hands-on experience with materials (tile, plumbing, cabinetry and lighting), including sourcing, specification, budgeting, and installation coordination.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Chief Architect, and Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is preferred, but not required
- Strong visual presentation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with clients, vendors, and internal construction teams.
- Knowledge of residential building codes, materials, and construction practices; experience in high-end or custom residential projects is preferred.
