Summary/Objective
JOB DESCRIPTION
The position provides support to the HR Benefits Supervisor as well as the HR Department as a whole. The main tasks include assisting with FMLA processes, respond to employee questions regarding leave of absence, review current employee benefit programs to ensure adherence to company goals. Make recommendations to improve processes and efficiency.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position operating during the work week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.

Make recommendations to improve processes and efficiency.
Essential Functions

- Assist with FMLA/LOA administration including individual state Paid Family Leaves.
- Maintain insurance premium arrears payments and provide notices to employees.
- Facilitate updates to company intranet (Connect) website for HR department.
- Assist with other HR responsibilities including:
- Employee concerns (via phone calls/emails)
- PlanSource login issues/password resets as needed
- Verifications of Employment as needed
- Unemployment claims as needed
- Provide EAP information to employees as needed/
- Provide support to other parts of the department on an as needed basis
- Cross training on Benefits billing

- Basic working knowledge of FMLA and related state medical leave regulations
