Associate - Capital Projects

Position Brand Description: 

This role is responsible for managing the Project Management Office (PMO), associated practices and procedures, as well as controlling the engineering projects portfolio. The role will develop training, tools, best practices, processes, strategies, etc. to enable more efficient and effective project delivery.

Key Objectives/Deliverables:

Manage Results /Strategic Planning:

1. Act as Subject Matter Expert for the Site Capital Portfolio and Business Process

a. Monitor project metrics and provide monthly updates.

b. Facilitate Capital Project Forum Meetings

c. Complete annual Asset Condition Evaluation (ACE).

d. Organize and support annual Celltrion NJ capital planning sessions.

e. Own Capital Projects & Engineering WO business software (PDWARE)

1. Management of account access for end users.

2. Development of technical operation SOPs.

3. Creation of custom reports to support business needs.

4. Development of user interface to ensure optimized system performance

2. Manage Capital Projects

a. Manage small capital projects from start to finish including creating business cases/estimate summaries, updating progress in the capital project portfolio tool (PDWARE) and capitalization.

3. Own Capital Project Management Program to ensure consistency and set expectations for Project Planning and Execution in compliance with cGMP’s, HSE, and financial compliance requirements.

a. Develop and implement a project controls strategy for schedule and budget

b. Develop training material and templates (eCIR, capitalization, schedule, forecasting and document management etc.).

c. Represents the department’s responsibilities on cross functional teams to ensure consistent approach to engineering document management.

Basic Requirements:

Associate Capital Projects: 

1. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in engineering project management including design, construction and project estimating.

2. Minimum 1-3 of experience in the development and implementation of integrated baseline control processes for project scope, schedule and budget.

3. Experience utilizing Microsoft Project or other project scheduling software.

4. Strong written and oral communication skills.

5. Must be able to work in a fast-paced multitasking environment.

6. Strong organizational skills

7. Proficient in Microsoft Suite products, Word, Visio, SharePoint, Access Database & Excel.

8. Working knowledge of SAP/Ariba.

9. Must meet the physical requirements of the job; must have the ability to wear appropriate clean room attire.

Sr. Associate Capital Projects:

1. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in engineering project management (oversight of design as well as execution), construction and project estimating.

2. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the development and implementation of integrated baseline control processes for project scope, schedule and budget.

3. Experience utilizing Microsoft Project or other project scheduling software.

4. Strong written and oral communication skills.

5. Must be able to work in a fast-paced multitasking environment.

6. Strong organizational skills

7. Proficient in Microsoft Suite products, Word, Visio, SharePoint, Access Database & Excel.

8. Working knowledge of SAP/Ariba.

9. Must meet the physical requirements of the job; must have the ability to wear appropriate clean room attire.

Manager Capital Projects: 

1. Minimum 10-15 years of experience in engineering project management (oversight of design as well as execution), construction (direct supervision of field activities) and project estimating.

2. Minimum 10 -15 of experience in the development and implementation of integrated baseline control processes for project scope, schedule and budget.

3. Experience utilizing Microsoft Project or other project scheduling software.

4. Strong written and oral communication skills.

5. Must be able to work in a fast-paced multitasking environment.

6. Strong organizational skills

7. Proficient in Microsoft Suite products, Word, Visio, SharePoint, Access Database & Excel.

8. Working knowledge of SAP/Ariba.

9. Must meet the physical requirements of the job; must have the ability to wear appropriate clean room attire.

Education Requirements: 

This role is exempt and the anticipated compensation for this role is $71,250 - $116,000.

This is a banded role, and candidates will be placed within the range based on experience, skills, internal equity, and market considerations.
