Position Brand Description:
This position provides operational support for the Technical Operations laboratory, including general lab operations, laboratory supply management, buffer and cell culture media preparation, equipment operation and troubleshooting, and overall laboratory maintenance. This role requires knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), applicable guidelines, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to complete assigned activities effectively and compliantly.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
- Support general laboratory operations, including supply ordering and stocking, equipment cleaning, equipment operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination of routine calibration activities.
- Preparation of buffers and cell culture media, including required calculations; managing laboratory raw material inventory; maintenance of buffer inventory and internal request site; and documentation in laboratory notebooks.
- General laboratory support, such as stocking and ordering of lab supplies, general cleaning and maintenance of the lab and equipment as well as general assistance with basic lab activities and daily equipment calibrations.
- Clean and sterilize benchtop bioreactors; assemble and disassemble bioreactors; and prepare bioreactor assemblies and components to support laboratory studies.
- Maintain laboratory notebooks, including authoring, review, and data integrity checks, in accordance with good documentation practices.
- Comply with all safety policies and required personal protective equipment (PPE) standards.
Basic Requirements:
- Ability to understand technical nomenclature and language as well as work with mathematical formulas.
- Must be able to follow detailed instructions and record information clearly and accurately.
- Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
- Must be able to apply technical and operational experience to aid in problem solving activities.
- Must meet the physical requirements of the job; must have the ability to:
- Lift up to 30 pounds
- Stand for long periods
- Wear appropriate PPE
Education Requirements:
- Minimum HS degree with 2-4 years’ work experience

- Lifting required up to 30lbs
- Off-hour work may be required.
This role is non-exempt and the anticipated compensation for this role is $22- $35/hr.
This is a banded role, and candidates will be placed within the range based on experience, skills, internal equity, and market considerations.
