Senior HR Partner

The Business Partner provides a high level of customer service and consultation to leaders and employees by creating strong transparent partnerships. Responsible for Clinical and Regulatory with shared responsibility with New Haven. Assists in benefits, recruiting, employment relations, wellness, and HR operations.

Responsibilities

• Partner on organizational development initiatives to build and evolve our culture
• Act as a trusted advisor, aligning people strategies with business priorities to support growth, scalability, and performance across the organization.
• Manage projects within HR.
• Partner with TA and hiring managers working through workforce planning, onboarding, retention and employee development.
• Champion HR initiatives such as training programs, performance management, open enrollment, and overall benefit participation.
• Coach and develop leaders to engage, motivate and lead high performing teams, identifying least effective performance and partnering with team leaders to address performance issues early on.
• Drive consistency in administering HR policies, programs and procedures
• Advises new and existing employees on benefits eligibility, coverage, and claims procedures
• Identify key trends and collaborate with the HR team to provide recommendations and solutions.
• Source talent candidates for open requisitions and maintain a talent pipeline for hard to fill positions.
• Stay abreast of current recruiting, sourcing, and HR trends.
• Assists in preparing and processing all necessary termination documentation.
• Conduct new hire orientations and facilitate pre-employment checks
• Plan and organize meetings, conferences, and training sessions
  
  

Qualifications

• Data-driven, analytical mindset with comfort leveraging data and analytics to inform decisions
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft products, ATS and HRIS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational skills and strong ability to multi-task.
• Customer first approach, strong business acumen, a collaborator
• Strong ability to maintain confidentiality.
  
  

Education/Experience

• BA/BS in business or related area.
• HR certificate program or equivalent in experience.
• 8 years of progressive experience in HR
• 4 years of experience as an HR Business partner
• 2 years working in environment with C-level executives
• 3-5 years life sciences industry experience
  
  

Compensation Statement

The expected base salary for this position is: $116156.00 to $150852.00. We are committed to compensating employees equitably based on several factors including experience, education, licensure/certifications, skill level, location of the position, and availability of similar talent in a competitive market.

Subject to eligibility and applicable plan terms, compensation includes base salary, annual discretionary bonus, long term incentive, 401(K) plan with employer contribution, health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.
