This role will be responsible for designing, developing and executing the Patient Services strategy and patient support programs that ensure timely access to therapy, reimbursement assistance, and patient education and adherence. The individual will provide strategic and operational leadership over Patient Services within the Commercial department, for the launch of Celldex lead product.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Patient Support Programs: include creating and managing programs like hub support, copay assistance, and adherence initiatives.
- Ensuring access to therapy: navigate complex reimbursement landscapes to ensure patients can afford their medications.
- Reimbursement assistance: help patients navigate insurance claims, pre-authorization processes, and other reimbursement barriers.
- Patient education and support: provide patients with information about their medications, treatment plans, and how to manage their condition.
- Collaboration with internal teams: work closely with commercial, clinical, and other departments to support patient access and adherence.
- Vendor management: manage relationships with external vendors that provide services like hub support, adherence programs, or medication delivery.
- Data analysis and reporting: track program performance, identifying areas for improvement, and reporting on key metrics.
- Strategic planning: develop and execute a patient services strategy that aligns with the company's commercial goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA preferred
- 15 years of experience in biopharma, commercial operations roles, 5 years of Commercial Leadership experience and 5 years of direct experience with Payers, Spec. Pharmacies, and/or Patient Support services
- At least 5 years previous management and leadership experience
- Current understanding of the US Payer and Specialty Distribution landscape and an understanding of contracting strategies
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated track-record successfully launching new pharmaceutical products
- Experience with Inflammation & Immunology and biologic products is preferred
- Travel required – Up to 20%

Compensation
The expected base salary range for this position is $233,631 to $303,417.We are committed to compensating employees equitably based on several factors including experience, education, licensure/certifications, skill level, location of the position, and availability of similar talent in a competitive market.
Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary bonus, long term incentive, 401(K) plan with employer contribution, health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.
