Director of Sales and Growth

Cellairis
Alpharetta, GA Full Time
POSTED ON 9/1/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 2/27/2027

The Opportunity

Cellairis is seeking an experienced Director of Sales & Growth to lead, build, and scale our B2B sales organization.

This is a highly visible player-coach leadership role for someone who wants to build, not simply inherit and manage an existing sales team. The Director will evaluate and develop the current organization, recruit talent, establish sales discipline and accountability, strengthen customer relationships, and personally drive revenue while building the team.

We are looking for a proven sales leader who combines hands-on selling ability with strong leadership, industry experience, relationship-building skills, urgency, discipline, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and scale the company’s B2B sales organization.
  • Evaluate the current team and build the right structure and talent for future growth.
  • Recruit, coach, develop, and manage high-performing sales professionals.
  • Establish individual and team quotas, revenue targets, gross-margin expectations, territories, and performance standards.
  • Personally carry and grow a meaningful book of business while the sales organization is being built.
  • Develop new customers and expand strategic existing accounts.
  • Build strong executive-level relationships with customers, prospects, carriers, distributors, VARs/resellers, enterprise customers, and strategic partners.
  • Establish disciplined prospecting, pipeline management, account planning, territory planning, and forecasting.
  • Implement and drive consistent CRM adoption, reporting, and sales accountability.
  • Improve sales processes, SOPs, quoting, pricing discipline, and margin management.
  • Establish a consistent cadence of sales meetings, pipeline reviews, coaching, and performance management.
  • Partner effectively with Operations, Finance, Product, Marketing, Customer Service, and other departments to deliver results and a strong customer experience.
  • Represent Cellairis professionally with customers, partners, and at industry events.

Who We’re Looking For

We are particularly interested in candidates with significant experience in the mobile accessories, mobile device, carrier, or enterprise mobility industries.

The ideal candidate understands how an OEM successfully sells across the technology ecosystem, including Distribution, VAR/Reseller, Enterprise, Education, Carrier, and other strategic routes to market.

Industry and channel experience are important, but this is first and foremost a sales leadership and organizational-building role. We need someone who can turn industry knowledge, relationships, and opportunities into a disciplined sales organization that consistently produces profitable growth.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Significant relevant experience may be considered for exceptional candidates.
  • 10–15 years of progressive sales and commercial experience, including substantial direct selling responsibility and a documented history of achieving or exceeding quota.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of sales leadership experience, with direct responsibility for managing, coaching, developing, and evaluating sales professionals.
  • Significant experience within the mobile accessories, mobile device, carrier, enterprise mobility, or closely related technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of Distribution, VAR/Reseller, Enterprise, Education, and Carrier sales environments.
  • Proven experience building, restructuring, or materially improving a sales organization.
  • Demonstrated history of personally carrying and achieving meaningful sales quotas.
  • Proven ability to prospect, develop, negotiate, and close new business.
  • Experience establishing quotas, territories, account plans, pipelines, forecasts, and sales-performance processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage both top-line revenue and gross-margin performance.
  • Strong executive-level relationship-building, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly to customers, prospects, partners, and industry events.

Leadership Style

The right person will create a sales culture built around accountability, urgency, discipline, teamwork, enthusiasm, and results.

We want a leader who:

  • Leads from the front and holds themselves to the same standards as the team.
  • Develops people while addressing underperformance directly and professionally.
  • Builds trust and productive relationships across the organization.
  • Challenges existing practices when necessary but brings solutions, not simply problems.
  • Works through people and processes rather than around them.
  • Simplifies and improves processes rather than creating unnecessary complexity.
  • Takes ownership rather than assigning blame.
  • Balances confidence and strong opinions with listening, collaboration, and sound judgment.
  • Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment where every resource, process, or tool may not exist on day one.
  • Maintains a sense of urgency and finds ways to execute without taking shortcuts.

How results are achieved matters along with the results themselves. We are looking for someone who builds stronger people, processes, relationships, and teams rather than relying on individual heroics.

Technology Experience

Experience with the following is preferred:

  • CRM and sales-management platforms
  • NetSuite
  • Microsoft 365
  • Sales quoting, forecasting, analytics, and reporting tools
  • AI and AI-enabled productivity tools for sales research, account planning, communication, analysis, and productivity

How Success Will Be Measured

The Director will be evaluated on both personal business results and the performance of the sales organization they build and lead, including:

  • Company revenue and gross-margin growth.
  • Overall performance of the sales team against established revenue, quota, and gross-margin objectives.
  • Percentage of individual sales team members consistently achieving quota and performance expectations.
  • Director’s personal sales performance and book of business during the player-coach phase.
  • New customer acquisition and new-business development.
  • Growth and retention of strategic accounts.
  • Pipeline quality, coverage, conversion, and forecast accuracy.
  • CRM adoption and sales-process discipline across the team.
  • Ability to recruit, coach, develop, and retain high-performing sales professionals.
  • Ability to identify and appropriately address persistent underperformance.
  • Strength of customer and strategic partner relationships.
  • Cross-functional collaboration and trust throughout the organization.
  • Development of a disciplined, accountable, scalable sales organization capable of consistently producing profitable growth.

Ultimately, the Director’s success will not be measured only by what they personally sell, but by how effectively the entire sales team performs and develops under their leadership.

Why Cellairis

This is an opportunity to help build the next generation of the Cellairis sales organization within an established company.

Initially, success will require both personal sales production and hands-on leadership. Over time, success will increasingly be measured by the strength of the team, culture, customer relationships, processes, revenue, and profitability the Director has built.

We are looking for someone who is excited to roll up their sleeves, win business, build a team, establish a winning sales culture, and have a meaningful impact on the future growth of the company.
