We are looking for a Product Development Specialist to join our team in a high-impact role. While this position initially provides critical support during a maternity leave, there is significant potential for this to become a long-term career opportunity within our organization. This role is based in our office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
In this role, you will be the driving force behind the development and approval of our cut & sew apparel. You will work at the intersection of design, sourcing, and merchant vision to ensure we deliver high-quality, trend-right products to our customers on time.

Responsibilities:
As a Product Development Specialist, you will manage the lifecycle of a garment, ensuring styling details and quality standards are never compromised. Your key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with Designers, Merchants, and Technical Design to ensure product styling and fit align with current market trends.
- Building strong relationships with international agents and vendors to clearly communicate product standards and resolve production hurdles.
- Reviewing and approving all vendor submits, including trims, fabric dips, print strike-offs, and fabric quality against established standards.
- Monitoring WIP (Work in Progress) reports and production flow to ensure all programs meet strict Time & Action deadlines.
- Researching new techniques and concept samples while shopping the market to keep our products at the forefront of fashion and value.
- 2 years of experience in Product Development.
- A solid understanding of garment specifications, including construction and grading.
- Background in Cut & Sew apparel is highly preferred.
- A degree in Fashion/Home Product Design or Merchandising.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, PLM/Web PDM, and Microsoft Office.
