Responsibilities:
Survey Programming & Design
- Draft Questionnaires: Create initial survey drafts tailored to specific research goals.
- Apply Methodology Best Practices: Ensure surveys feature logical flow, clear phrasing, and unbiased questioning.
- Program Surveys: Build and test surveys on platforms like Qualtrics or Decipher (utilizing logic, piping, and randomization).
- Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous QA testing to guarantee a flawless respondent experience.
- Data Preparation: Clean, code, and organize datasets to prepare them for deep-dive analysis.
- Build Crosstabs: Generate structured crosstabs mapped directly to core business questions.
- Ensure Data Integrity: Perform quality checks to spot anomalies and guarantee consistency across different cuts.
- Analyze Trends: Run descriptive statistics to identify meaningful patterns, variances, and trends.
- Validate Hypotheses: Cross-reference findings against original assumptions and flag outlier data.
- Draft Insights: Turn complex, raw figures into compelling, evidence-backed business insights.
- Draft Reports: Create PowerPoint or Word deliverables summarizing key takeaways.
- Visualize Data: Design clean, engaging charts and tables that make complex information easy to digest.
- Iterate: Refine and polish reports based on stakeholder and team feedback.
- Own Timelines: Take accountability for the schedule and milestones of your assigned projects.
- Proactive Communication: Flag potential delays or bottlenecks early and propose workarounds.
- Stay Organized: Maintain meticulously organized project files, documentation, and data outputs.
- Partner Internally: Collaborate with senior researchers to refine project objectives.
- Align with Business Needs: Ensure final deliverables directly address stakeholder questions.

Survey Design & Programming Expertise
- You possess hands-on experience drafting questionnaires using industry best practices-ensuring clear language, logical progression, and unbiased phrasing. On the technical side, you are proficient in programming surveys within platforms like Qualtrics or Decipher, utilizing advanced features such as logic, piping, and randomization.
- You bring advanced Excel skills (focused on data cleaning and generating complex crosstabs) paired with experience using statistical software (such as SPSS or R). You are comfortable manipulating large-scale datasets, executing structured analysis plans, and mining raw data to uncover key trends and patterns.
- This position requires 2 to 5 years of direct, professional experience in market research (MR).
