JUNIOR PACKAGING SPECIALIST/DESIGNER

Location: Framingham, MA (Hybrid - 2 days/week onsite)
Schedule: 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri
Duration: Ongoing (no end, could be 2 years - very high retention client)
Compensation Range: $35 - 36 per hour

Join an established leader in the Consumer & Retail sector to drive the creative evolution of global accessories and trend products. In this role, you will bridge the gap between initial concept and physical production, delivering high-visibility packaging solutions seen by shoppers worldwide. This is an exceptional opportunity to expand your creative portfolio by owning the end-to-end design process for household brand names.

Responsibilities:

• Design high-impact packaging assets (boxes, hangtags, and labels) to maintain brand equity and elevate new trend-forward products across global divisions.
• Develop precise physical prototypes and presentation-ready mockups to secure swift internal stakeholder and buyer alignment.
• Manage the end-to-end production workflow from concept to shelf to ensure all quality standards, visual tool requirements, and category deadlines are flawlessly executed.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Vendors, and Senior Specialists, to review and proof packaging before final press delivery.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of design experience, ideally focused on retail or consumer packaging.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating an excellent sense of color, typography, and experience bringing packaging components to life.
• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (BFA), Graphic Design, or a related creative field.
