Internal Communications Specialist (Hybrid)

Location: Smithfield, RI; Merrimack, NH; or Westlake, TX

Schedule: Hybrid (Alternating weekly rotation: one week fully on-site, one week fully remote)

Duration: 6-month contract to extend in increments

Full-time/Part-time: Full-time

Compensation Range: $60.00 - $68.00/hr W2

We are seeking a talented Internal Communications Specialist to support a high-impact Product Delivery Technology team. In this role, you will act as a vital connector between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex technology and product concepts into clear, compelling narratives. You will leverage your expertise in storytelling and visual communication to drive alignment, engagement, and clarity across a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities:

• Translate technology and product updates into clear messaging aligned to business goals.
• Develop strategic communication artifacts such as executive presentations, storytelling decks, and talking points.
• Proactively identify communication gaps and recommend solutions that improve transparency and engagement.
• Manage multiple communication initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

Required Must-Haves

• Strategic Partnering: Proven ability to partner closely with product leaders and technology teams to shape narratives that support alignment and high-level decision-making.
• Storytelling Frameworks: Expertise in applying storytelling frameworks to communicate complex roadmaps, tradeoffs, risks, and value realization.
• Visual Synthesis: Ability to create visuals, infographics, and diagrams that simplify and explain complex systems, processes, and concepts.
• Change Communications: Experience supporting communications related to new capabilities, processes, and delivery milestones.
• Audience Tailoring: Demonstrated success in tailoring messaging for diverse internal audiences, including executives, product teams, and business stakeholders.
• Brand Alignment: Commitment to ensuring all communications are accurate, consistent, and aligned with established corporate brand and communication standards.
• Technical Proficiencies: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and high proficiency in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite.
