Location: Hybrid - onsite Tues and Thurs in National Mall/Foggy Bottom area DC; remaining days remoteType: 2-3 month contract with potential for extensionCompensation Range: $40-$45/hr W2Our nonprofit client is seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Graphic Designer & Production Specialist to support their Creative Services department. In this role, you will play a key part in bringing our client's mission to life through compelling visual design, rigorous print pre-press preparation, and creative workflow coordination. Responsibilities:Visual Design & LayoutDesign and produce high-quality visual materials across print and digital channels, including trade show materials, displays, signage, posters, banners, educational modules, white papers, event invitations, flyers, logos, reports, brochures, electronic newsletters, and presentations.Maintain visual brand integrity and consistency across all collateral and platforms.Adapt concepts into multi-format assets efficiently while adhering to creative guidelines.Prepress & Print ProductionPrepare, preflight, package, and archive electronic files according to strict vendor and digital output requirements.Perform quality control checks on layout, image resolution, color profiles, typography, bleeds, and marks.Review, mark up, and approve printer proofs to guarantee final print quality.Traffic Management & Project CoordinationTrack and update the status of assigned work orders, production files, and project schedules within our project management tools.Coordinate timelines with internal teams and external print/production vendors to ensure on-time delivery.Perform final quality control checks on delivered printed products and digital assets.
