Dental Assistant Details Full Time Schedules Some weekends may be required 8 hour shifts Contract Position (flexible with shift availability is a plus) Dental Assistant Duties Assist the dentist with dental cleanings on inmates Assist the dentist with dental extractions on inmates Sterilize dental instruments and equipment Maintain inmate records Escort inmates to and from the dental clinic Assist with seating and preparing inmates for treatment Provide chairside assistance during procedures Dental Assistant Qualifications Graduation from an accredited educational institution Licensed as a Dental Assistant by the State in which the position is located.
