LPT Details
- Full Time Schedules
- 8 hour Shift
- Some weekends may be required

LPT Duties
- Psychiatric Assessment: Conduct initial assessments of inmates to identify psychiatric conditions and make recommendations for treatment plans.
- Crisis Intervention: Use verbal and non-verbal communication skills to de-escalate tense situations and manage inmates who may be a threat to themselves or others.
- Medication Administration/Monitoring: LPTs are responsible for administering prescribed medications to inmates with mental health disorders, including psychiatric medications, mood stabilizers, or anti-anxiety drugs.
LPT Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited educational institution
- Licensed as a Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) by the State in which the position is located. The license MUST be in good standing
- 1 year of relevant Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) experience
