We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator or Director with proven leadership and an exceptional personality to join our team at Celina Montessori Academy, Celina, TX. As an Office Administrator or Director you will join our team of qualified staff in providing the foundation for a successful Montessori experience to our students.
Requirements:
- English as the primary language is required
- Experience in Early Childhood education is required
- Experience or knowledge of Montessori Education is a plus but not required
- Understanding of the business aspects of the school and maintaining a trouble-free office environment at all times
- Excellent communication in verbal and business writing
- Ability to relate well to the public, in person and on the telephone
- Good knowledge of usage of social media for promoting school and school activities in Facebook, Twitter, Google and other social media
Qualifications:
- Worked as admin in Childcare or Preschool; preferably Montessori school
- Ability to coordinate, develop and maintain routines
- Possess proper phone etiquette
- Professional, positive attitude and appearance.
- Time management skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point
- Possess articulation and communicative skills
- Verbal and written skills
- Ability to multi-task in a highly-visible, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to handle confidential matters and information with discretion
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
- Passionate about connecting with teachers and students
- Willing to work flexible hours
Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Schedule and monitor teacher and other staff schedules.
- Greet visitors, conduct preschool tours as needed, provide basic information to visitors and callers.
- Provide information that parents requested.
- Correspond all the requests were made either through telephone or in writing.
- Order school and office supplies and maintain an accurate record.
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external visitors of the school
- Organize numerous files for various employees and students.
- Maintain record of up to date medical for all children on site
- Coordinates daily substitute activities for the purpose of ensuring that staff absences are covered in a timely manner and that student safety and educational process needs are met.
- Develop and maintain an electronic record keeping system to manage student information
- Responsible for monthly tuition collections.
- Schedule and arrange appointments and school tours.
- Assist parent during enrollment process
- Maintains schedules and calendars
- Manage office, classroom, kitchen and custodian inventory.
- Manage day-to-day activities at the school.
- Prepares and manages correspondence, reports, and document
- Maintain active parent-school communication through emails, notes and other forms of communication
- Composes a variety of documents (e.g., correspondence, agendas, newsletters, minutes, bulletins, reports) for the purpose of communicating information and/or creating documentation in conformance with established guidelines.
- Willing to work flex hours and support school activities during weekends whenever required

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
