Detailed Description
- Identity & Governance: Manage Microsoft Entra ID as the backbone of the organization, including B2B/B2C collaborations, Enterprise Applications, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Azure Infrastructure: Provision and manage Azure Virtual Machines (VMs), Virtual Networks (VNets), and Azure Storage solutions to support business applications.
- Hybrid Connectivity: Maintain and troubleshoot Azure VPN Gateways or ExpressRoute, ensuring seamless connectivity between on-premises data centers and the cloud.
- Security Operations: Implement Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel to monitor for threats across both the M365 productivity suite and Azure workloads.
- Business Continuity: Design and manage backup and recovery strategies using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery (ASR) for both cloud and on-premise assets.
- Cost Management: Monitor and optimize Azure spend using Azure Cost Management, ensuring resources are right-sized and non-production environments are decommissioned when not in use.

- Compute & Storage: Practical knowledge of IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) vs. PaaS (Platform as a Service) and when to deploy each.
- Networking: Deep understanding of VNet peering, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and Load Balancers.
- Governance: Experience implementing Azure Policy and Blueprints to enforce corporate standards across subscriptions.
