We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. You will engage with the dogs, ensuring they receive the attention and care they need throughout the day. This position requires a love for animals and the ability to handle various breeds and temperaments.
Duties
- Supervise and interact with dogs in a daycare setting to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Maintain cleanliness of the daycare area, including kennels, play areas, and equipment.
- Feed dogs according to their dietary needs and schedules.
- Monitor dog behavior and report any concerns to management.
- Assist in administering medications as needed under supervision.
- Engage in playtime activities, including training exercises, to promote socialization among dogs.
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving crates or cleaning supplies.
- Ensure proper animal restraint techniques are applied during handling.
Experience
While prior experience is not mandatory, the following skills are highly desirable:
- Experience in kennel or pet care settings.
- Background in animal care or veterinary technician roles.
