This role handles high-complexity issues, system maintenance, and infrastructure-level support.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide advanced troubleshooting for servers, networks, virtualization platforms, and enterprise applications.Administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policies.Manage system performance, patching, updates, and security compliance.Support configuration, monitoring, and optimization of infrastructure components.Troubleshoot escalated issues from Tier I and Tier II teams and provide root-cause analysis.Maintain documentation, configuration baselines, and operational procedures.Implement system improvements, migrations, and upgrades as directed.Ensure alignment with federal cybersecurity requirements, STIGs, and compliance frameworks.Work with security, engineering, and program teams to support mission-critical systems.Required Qualifications5 years of system administration or advanced technical support experience.Demonstrated experience managing and administering Microsoft SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), including software deployment, patching, and system maintenance.Strong experience with Windows Server, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), network services, and enterprise tools.Deep understanding of Active Directory, GPO management, and security hardening.Ability to diagnose and resolve complex multi-system issues.Ability to obtain and maintain required government clearance.Preferred QualificationsCompTIA Security CCNA or MCSC equivalentMicrosoft, VMware, Cisco, or similar advanced certifications.Experience in federal environments.Flexible work from home options available.
