We are seeking to fill a Warehouse Associate role. This role is responsible for accurately and safely receiving, stocking, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse. This role ensures that customer orders are processed efficiently and accurately while maintaining company standards for safety, organization, and service quality.
Shift: Monday-Friday 10:30AM-7PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload trucks and accurately receive merchandise, verifying incoming shipments against bills of lading and purchase orders.
- Interpret customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all inventory and order transactions.
- Move, sort, and identify materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas according to established procedures.
- Prepare bills of lading and verify that items to be shipped match work orders in quantity, destination, and routing.
- Trace lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments and initiate proof of delivery (POD) documentation as needed.
- Weigh, count, and inspect items for distribution within the warehouse to ensure conformance with company quality standards.
- Conduct daily cycle counts of resale materials and related products; report discrepancies promptly.
