What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Laboratory Technician position at Celerion?

Analyze body fluid specimens in accordance with client protocol, using current standard operating procedures.
• Set up, operation, and shutdown of clinical laboratory instruments
• Body fluid analysis, using manual and automated testing procedures
• Quality control evaluation and data review of analytical runs
• Preventative maintenance of clinical laboratory instruments
• Computer entry of analytical results
• Document test data
• Inventory control of routine materials used within the clinical lab
• Interact with clients
• Meetings/in-service education
• Medical Laboratory Technician (Associate degree or equivalent certification)
• Schedule Monday - Friday (flexible hours)
• ASCP/ AMT (or equivalent) or MLT Degree required
• Some weekend availability required
