What you'll do!
- Assist the School Leadership team in managing the early care and education program.
- Uphold, showcase, and maintain brand standards.
- Promote and represent the early care and education program.
- Ensure excellence with school standards, policies, and accreditation.
- Contribute to leadership meetings to promote business growth and program development.
- Actively identify needs and opportunities to support the education staff.
- Coach, mentor, lead an initiative, and provide professional development to staff.
- Collaborate with the staff in the development, writing, and implementation of the curriculum.
- Align program practices and standards to support quality implementation.
- Review and approve lesson plans and provide timely feedback and recommendations.
- Assume operational responsibility in the absence of the school Director/Assistant. Director.
- Train staff on newly adopted programs and policies.
- Minimum skills and experience: South Carolina director qualified.
- Capacity to work prudently and tactfully with staff, parents, and volunteers in a supportive role.
- 1-3 years of experience in early childhood program management- corporate, franchise, and/or large branded school preferred but not mandatory.
- Preferred experience in implementing inclusive curriculum for diverse learning environments.
- Skills to enable teaching staff development.
- Effective multitasking in a fast-paced environment to meet given deadlines.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and childcare management databases.
- Adaptability, flexibility, self-direction, dependability, accountability, conflict resolution.
- Digital literacy, professional writing, work ethic, career management, intercultural fluency.
- Public speaking, presentation skills, strategic thinking, creativity, mediation.
