Responsibilities
As a Twos Teacher, you will be given the tools, resources, and training to:
- Guide children through daily routines while encouraging independence, confidence, and self-help skills.
- Manage the Twos classroom while ensuring compliance with all Office of Child Care regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Create a welcoming, engaging, and positive classroom environment for children, families, and visitors.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and learning experiences aligned with Celebree's curriculum and developmental goals.
- Foster language development, social-emotional growth, and early problem-solving skills through purposeful play and exploration.
- Support children as they learn to navigate friendships, express emotions appropriately, and build positive relationships.
- Assist with potty-training readiness and partner with families to support consistency between home and school.
- Ensure the classroom remains safe, clean, organized, and inviting for all children.
- Accurately complete all required paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance tracking.
- Maintain open and professional communication with families regarding their child's development, milestones, and daily experiences.
- Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
- This position requires comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the behavioral and developmental stages of children and knowledge of childcare licensing requirements
- The ability to manage a classroom, including strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills. patience, flexibility.
