Event Setup Coordinator
Celebrations on the River — La Crosse’s #1 wedding venue — is seeking hard-working, dependable Event Setup Coordinators to join our overnight team. This role is essential to ensuring our weddings and special events are beautifully prepared and flawlessly executed.
As an Event Setup Coordinator, you will clean and reset event spaces after weddings and special events, then prepare and decorate the venue for upcoming events.
Schedule
- 3rd Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
- Friday – Sunday (weekday shifts also available)
- Nights & weekends required
- Part-time and full-time positions available
Overview
- Clean banquet halls after events
- Set up tables, chairs, furniture, linens, and décor
- Prepare event spaces for weddings, conferences, and special events
Responsibilities
- Clean rooms from previous events, including floors, bathrooms, and bridal suites
- Move and arrange tables and chairs according to event layouts
- Set table linens and decorations based on event details
- Ensure all setups are accurate and meet event specifications
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to perform moderate physical work for 7 hour shifts
- Dependable, responsible, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work overnight (3rd shift), nights, and weekends
Preferred Experience
- Cleaning experience
- Decorating or event setup experience
- Strong attention to detail
Compensation & Benefits
- $20–$22 per hour
- Complimentary meal per shift
- Paid training hours
- Eligible for performance-based raises after 60 days
- Full-time or part-time hours available
