Sonographer – Maternal Fetal Medicine

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasonographer to join our dynamic team. This position plays a crucial role in our growing Maternal Fetal Medicine department, providing specialized ultrasound services to support the diagnosis and management of high-risk pregnancies.
Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed ultrasound examinations to assess fetal anatomy, growth, and well-being.
- Conduct Doppler studies, fetal echocardiography, and antenatal testing.
- Assist in procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS) under ultrasound guidance.
- Collaborate closely with Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists and obstetricians to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information.
- Maintain patient records and ensure documentation meets regulatory standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
- Performance of basic obstetrical and gynecologic ultrasounds as needed
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) required.
- Fetal echocardiography certification is desirable or will need to be obtained within 2 years of starting.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in performing ultrasound examinations in a Maternal Fetal Medicine setting preferred.
- Experience with ViewPoint reporting software and GE Ultrasound equipment desirable.
- Strong knowledge of fetal anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Work Environment:
- Full time position providing outpatient services Monday-Friday.
- Fast growing practice with team members focused on a patient-centered experience
- Office located in Orlando, FL (I4 & 528)
