Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the body shop, ensuring workflow efficiency and profitability.
- Manage and develop a team of estimators, technicians, and support staff.
- Monitor repair quality and ensure all work meets OEM standards and insurance requirements.
- Drive revenue growth by maximizing labor, parts, and materials gross profits.
- Maintain accurate financial reporting and achieve department gross profit targets.
- Ensure timely and professional communication with insurance partners, vendors, and customers.
- Implement and enforce customer satisfaction processes, targeting top-tier CSI results.
- Coordinate with dealership Fixed Ops leadership to align goals and optimize overall dealership performance.
- Oversee compliance with safety regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in a dealership or large-scale collision center.
- Proven track record of driving gross profits while maintaining exceptional CSI.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to coach and motivate teams.
- Proficiency with estimating software (CCC, Audatex, Mitchell) and dealership management systems (DMS).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of insurance DRP programs and OEM certification processes preferred.
