Celebrate the Children School is pleased to announce that we have openings for a full-time and leave replacement School Social Worker for the 2026-2027 School Year. Celebrate the Children is a well-respected, non-profit, state-approved private school for children with alternative learning styles that has been providing quality education services to the community for over twenty years. At Celebrate the Children our School Social Workers are surrounded by staff who are caring, compassionate, and dedicated to our program philosophy.

Requirements for Social Worker Include:

• Master of Social Work

• DOE Standard Certification required

• Minimum of two years of experience working with the special needs population

• DIR experience is preferred but not required

• Bilingual strongly preferred but not required

The salary range provided is in accordance with New Jersey pay transparency laws. Final compensation is determined using a structured salary grid that considers relevant years of experience and educational qualifications, subject to applicable New Jersey Department of Education requirements and the discretion of the Board of Directors.

This posting is for both a regular, full-time position and a temporary leave-replacement position.

The regular, full-time position is an 11-month position, encompassing both the regular school year (September–June) and our Extended School Year (ESY) program. The advertised salary reflects compensation for the 10-month school year, with ESY compensation calculated separately and paid at an hourly rate.

The temporary leave-replacement position is compensated at an hourly rate, with the duration of employment dependent upon the leave coverage needs of the organization.
