What are the responsibilities and job description for the Autism Support Staff position at Celebrate Ability?
***MUST HAVE PERSONAL VEHICLE AND DRIVER'S INSURANCE***
Celebrate Ability provides instructional services to school-age autistic individuals in their homes and communities. This is an after school and weekend position in FREDERICK COUNTY.
Responsibilities of Autism Support Staff:
- Assist clients in activities of daily living and personal hygiene, communication and socialization
- Help clients manage their own behavior and teach them appropriate alternative behaviors
- Encourage and participate in recreational activities with clients
- Keep accurate time sheet logs and session notes
Eligibility Requirements of Autism Support Staff:
- Minimum 1 year direct autism experience
- Must have personal transportation
- Must pass state and federal background check
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
