Position Description
This independent contributor role consists of, but is not limited to: hands on completion of analysis of in-process and final batch test results in support of manufacturing. As decisions and actions are based on lab results, this position requires diligent detail in following lab procedures, record keeping and documentation, and accurate calculations and reporting.

- Ensure accurate and thorough documentation and lab records.
- Manage multiple simultaneous samples in an organized high-quality environment.
- Follow lab work instructions.
- Commit to safety and working safely.
- Ensure diligent detail in following lab procedures, record keeping and documentation, and accurate calculations and reporting.
- Communicate with various departments (operations, technical).
- Ability to lift 55 pounds.
- Maintain dependable transportation, excellent attendance, and timeliness.
- Ability to multitask (manage multiple simultaneous samples in organized high-quality environment) is required.
- Self-motivation with strong output of accurate results.
- Demonstrate minimum color aptitude by scoring a 50 or lower using the Farnsworth-Munsell Hue Test.
- Undergo laboratory management assessment for color deficiencies as outlined in the FM-100 test method.
- Some lab experience - basic polymer testing (ash, MFR, volatiles, color) preferred but not mandatory
- ISO quality system and audit experience.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office apps (Word, Excel, Access, etc.).
- Strong communication skills.
- Extrusion molding experience.
- Shifts are a minimum of 8 hours, and a max of 12 hours.
- Mandatory overtime required in situations such as schedule gaps, vacations, callouts, etc.
- Sunday - Thursday, Day Shift (actual start and end times could vary. Will be one 8-hour block between the hours of 5am - 5pm).
- First two weeks are training on day shift, Monday - Friday.
Salary : $20 - $22
